Christal's career background includes extensive management and special event planning, along with organizational development in retail, non-profit, and higher academia environments. Christal came to us from the the School of Engineering at CMU, where she directed the "Engineering Your Future" program. This program was designed for Pittsburgh Public Schools middle and high school women to encourage interests and careers in science, math, and engineering. Currently, she is pursuing a M.A. in Leadership and Business Ethics at Duquesne University.

MCell Used in New Vesicle Fusion Findings
Researchers at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke use MCell to simulate "kiss-and-run" fusion at calyx-type synapses. See He, L., et al. Two modes of fusion pore opening revealed by cell-attached recordings at a synapse. Nature 444, 102-105 (2006).
