Dr. Kaminsky has worked in the fields of solid state physics, optics, and also in the television industry. He joined CMU in 1996, where he designed acousto-optical multispectral cameras and microscopes and developed software and simulation and modeling tools for various scientific applications using C/C++ and Java. Dr. Kaminsky has published over 40 papers in journals and conference proceedings and obtained 3 patents. He joined the PSC staff in 2004.
